Pepper – Office Mascot
Pepper joined the firm 8 weeks after her birth in 2013. She gets to hang out at the office nearly every day & greet all the staff & clients with a friendly lick. She enjoys interrupting the staff to make them play fetch or tug-a-war with her & she thinks they also enjoy having her around. Her mummy owns the place, so she gets to do pretty much whatever she likes, & because she is too cute for her own good, she just puts on an innocent look whenever anything goes wrong…

Lisa Tait is the founder of the Company. She saw the need for a “one stop shop” to SME professional services a long time ago. She commenced her own practice on the 01/07/96 with no clients, and has worked very hard to build Absolute Business Solutions Pty Ltd up to what it is today. She believes in a personal “hands on” approach & appreciates becoming part of her clients life journeys along the way. She keeps up-to-date on all the latest developments happening in the compliance world & relays these in real time to her client base.

Lisa Tait is the founder of the Company. She saw a need to assist her long standing accounting clients into retirement, as she had been part of their life for so long. From this she has set up the holistic business structure of Absolute Business Solutions Pty Ltd for all accounting needs, & Absolute Financial Planning Solutions Pty Ltd for all financial requirements. She completed her Diploma in Financial Services in 2007 & is an Authorised Representative of Rimbal Investment Services Pty Ltd. She loves to personalise strategies for the particular needs of her clients.
Tim Nicholls - Senior Tax Accountant
Tim started his working life as a state public servant and then worked in a number of roles in the private sector before completing his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, in 2005. He started work with a boutique accounting firm and three years later gained his CPA accreditation. Tim also obtained a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment which enabled him to teach at a local TAFE college in the evenings. He has worked at a number of boutique accounting firms where he gained experience in providing tax compliance services to individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts. Tim enjoys working with his clients and ensures that they feel comfortable and supported. He joined Absolute Business Solutions Pty Ltd as a Senior Accountant in April 2015.
Andrew O’Brien - Tax Accountant
Andrew has been working in business services for 7 years and also has experience in financial planning as a para planner. He started out in hospitality before making a career change to accounting and financial planning. He used his time in hospitality to find work in beautiful locations around Australia and overseas. He is currently studying to obtain his CPA accreditation. Like Tim he has experience providing tax compliance services to individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts. While mainly assisting Tim with tax compliance he also assists in other areas of the firm as needed. He aims to provide easy to understand solutions for complex issues.
Susanna Alexander – Office Manager Financial Planning
Susanna comes to us with experience gained whilst working for a variety of businesses from large corporate firms to small family concerns .The last 15 years have been spent working within the financial industry for mortgage brokers and financial advisers as an office administrator. “I find working in the financial industry interesting and rewarding as I enjoy assisting clients to reach their financial goals.”
Garry Lay – Client Service Officer
Garry has been associated within the Financial Services industry for over 5 years. He has worked with the Big 4 financial institutions coming from MLC/NAB Wealth Division. Prior to joining Absolute Financial Planning Solutions he was a Credit Analyst with CBA. His day – to – day activities consist of assisting our Adviser’s administrative needs and ensuring that our client’s financial wellbeing is secured.
Liam Rutter – Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant
Liam has been working in the Accounting and Bookkeeping industry for over 4 years and is currently studying for his Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting. He assists the Senior Accountants, as well as working closely with clients on bookkeeping. He enjoys assisting clients with technical issues in MYOB, and with a knack for computers he tends to be the go-to I.T. person within the office.
Laura King – Administration Officer
Laura began her career in Office Administration and brings to ABS over 20 years of administrative experience gained from her roles in the Banking, Aviation, Higher Education and Accounting industries. As Office Administrator, Laura is your first contact with us and is responsible for the daily office functions and ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Angie Sharp - Administration Officer
Angie has been working in the Accounting industry for over 6 years, prior to that she worked as a medical receptionist for 26 years. Her role as Office Administrator has her providing support to Laura and the Accounting team.
